After reading Footprints of the Dead, I have to admit that I was worried when I picked up my only other novel that was apart of the twilight: where darkness begins series. If it weren't for birthday parties, realatives, and an endless amount of eating out, I'd say I would've finished this thing in one sitting. It did take me only a day to finish however and I was not the slightest bit disapointed. The characters were amazing and I even developed a crush on Wes throughout the story. And for the first time in a long time, I actually feel really, really creeped out from reading a book. Even at the very ending after all is "resolved", it sends chills up your spines. A very good read. I might just add it to my "read again" list.Bestseller Evil on the Bayou Creat Richie Tankersley Cusick is Kindle Bayou country makes Meg Dalton unesay, not to mention the dying old woman she has been hired to care for As strange family mysteries unfold, Meg is convinced there is Evil on the Bayou.. Richie Tankersley Cusick is the bestselling young adult author of over 25 titles, including two adult horror titles, Scarecrow and Blood Roots Her popularity grew at the height of the horror YA boom in the late 80 s early 90 s, particularly with books like Lifeguard , Trick or Treat and Teacher s Pet , just to name a few, allowing her to keep company on the bestseller paperback lists with the likes of R.L Stine and Christopher Pike Her fan base expanded about the time she changed publishers to Archway Pocket Books with titles like Vampire and Someone at the Door.. Good Book Evil on the Bayou Story kind of reminds me of the 1950s B-Movie "The Leech Woman". Not a bad tale overall.
