I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.I m rounding this one up to a five star because I think this read is superior to those that I rate with a four But I went into this novel with what I now feel is the slight disadvantage of reading one of her other books just a few titles prior This previous read blew me away and there s just not enough distance there for me to not compare the two So while I found Lucky to be really, really good, it just didn t quite reach the same p [...]

This book was recommended by friend and I m so glad it was It was such a different read for me It takes place in the not too far off future and is a story told in many layers Surviving a virus, an injury with mystery all over it and a romance that will capture you and break you at points, having your emotions all over the place This is def one to add to your TBR list

This book was very different than what I usually read Very glad I read it This book takes place in the near future where the D plague has wiped out 1 2 the population The only survivor that had the D plague and lived, meets a lady who has amnesia They fall in love and uncover very complicated plots that have someone trying to kill them The book will keep you turning the pages to find out how it all comes together It was brilliantly written and will leave you guessing until the end

This definitely is not my normal read However, I am so glad I read it The story of Aric and Chelsea is truly amazing I m not one for futuristic books but this was believable, realistic, and well written Aric is the only survivor of the D plague in his family Chelsea has a brain injury and can t remember who she is Somehow they find each other Read this book, you won t be disappointed.

This was a thrilling romantic suspense that had constant twists and turns I was shocked by one of the biggest surprises at the end that I didn t see coming Definitely different and definitely worth the read It was set in the future but not so far in the future that there were crazy technological advances I loved the political conspiracy possibilities in the book Quite different
