  2. Read my interview with Pintip Dunn here. This review is also on my blog illbefinealone reads.Challenge of the day write down thoughts on this book without any spoilers Here goes nothing.I ve had this series in mind all year long, Mrs Dunn s story is quite a memorable read I jumped on the chance to read part two I obsessively checked for a NetGalley e mail until approval arrived.Part one ended on such a sad note, and I was really hoping that it would be taken back at the beginning of the sequel, h [...]

  3. I really enjoyed Forget Tomorrow, but Remember Yesterday was even better Seriously The first book really set the scene, and now readers will find themselves 10 years later into a world that just doesn t hold back Many of your questions from the first book are solved and new questions are brought up in this twisty, YA sci fi in which the past, present, and future collide.Told from 16 year old Jessa Stone s perspective, Remember Yesterday has the story of a set of close sisters that you came to lo [...]

  4. Remember Yesterday is the next instalment in the Forget Tomorrow series by Pintip Dunn I liked the first book and after that horrific ending I was excited to get stuck into the next book However, I felt an immediate disconnect when I opened my Kindle to discover this book was narrated by Jessa ten years later Now, this does make sense on one level don t want to spoil the story so I m being vague on purpose but I still felt let down Not sure the author could have written it any other way though.I [...]

  5. I had the pleasure of getting an early read of the draft for Remember Yesterday It s such a great sequel to Forget Tomorrow I loved this as much as the first book in the series Dunn is such a wonderful storyteller The scenes and characters she writes are vivid and full of depth You should totally mark this as must read this year

  6. A solid 3.5 that broke my whole heart gave me all kinds of anxiety and made me so happy all at once The only think that felt different here compared to book one was how certain things where explained to other characters It was glossed over so we got limited reactions and I wanted to see because Pintip does nothing If not shatter a soul with how emotional she can make you and her characters Over all I loved this story though and I can t wait for book three.

  7. I m loving this series The first book was Callie s story, which I would recommend you read before and remember yesterday is her sister s instalment.Jessa has always felt like she has an impossible position to fill Callie gave up everything so Jessa could have her own life, but finding your own way in the world isn t easy especially when everyone has high expectation of you Jessa just wants to do her part even if it s only freeing laboratory animals When on a rescue mission she is bitten by one o [...]

  8. I think I tried no less than three separate times to start this book I d sigh, open the book, read the first paragraph, stop, put the book down, and then sigh again Aaannndd repeat I m a huge proponent of giving authors and book series a second chance I m almost notorious for it For the most part, unless I find an author book to be hugely offensive, I ll come back for another round I ve bought sequels to books I hated Because I always think, this could be like Shatter Me This could be a case of [...]

  9. Up until 60%, I was really enjoying it But then, the author decided to throw time travel in which I should ve seen coming , and then I got lost I still managed to finish the book, though I haven t understood all the details view spoiler I liked that her dad is now in the picture, and that Callie and Logan yes, Callie is alive have reunited after her ten year coma hide spoiler It s pretty clear that there will be a third book However, I don t think my brain can take it.

  10. 3.5 Stars Definitely didn t like it as much as the first book, but I still love the overall story of this All of the technology and science is very interesting I also really liked Tanner My major issue is some of the repetitive phrases throughout the book Excited to see how the series wraps up with the last book.

  11. You know how often when you read books the first one is always amazing and then you have high hopes that the next one will be just as great Then when you read it, you feel a little letdown as it just isn t measuring up to the greatness of the first book That s how I felt with Book 2 of Pintip Dunn s series Forget Tomorrow I loved the first book with Callie and Logan s story and their rebellion against the world of Future memories after discovering that it could lead to genocide We also were reve [...]

  12. MY HEART CANT CONTAIN ALL MY EMOTIONS THAT IS ALL I M GOING TO SAY.The book was on fire from the very first pages figuratively I don t like it when sequels are slow paced in the beginning, and that book was definitely fast paced The thing I love the most about Dunn s writing is that she doesn t write aimless sentences or whatever Everything has a point and is interesting to read, and many authors, talented and all, neglect the fact that they have impatient readers who don t tolerate the 3 pages [...]

  13. I decided to read book two of this duology, despite finding the writing in book one quite poor, to see how the story concluded I found the premise in book one intriguing and I wanted to see the plot to it s fruition However, this book, which is billed as book 2 of 2, ended on yet another cliff hanger This story is clearly not the conclusion I was hanging on for In this book, the writing was better than book one, but still lacking The overall tone of writing feels quite juvenile The characters an [...]

  14. Well, I really did not see this coming The next book is from Jessa s POV Yeah, I read Forget tomorrow and I m aware of what happened at the end of the book, but still.I did not see that coming

  15. I received an eARC of this book via Netgalley This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.I loved Remember Yesterday by Pintip Dunn It was a thrilling read from start to finish The way the author told the story and brought it basically full circle had me like image error It was perfect Set ten years after Forget Tomorrow, this book follows Jessa Stone in a world without her sister.I loved Jessa She is such a relatable character It was easy to put myself in her shoes [...]

  16. Jessa is against scientists After what she s been through she thinks all of them are bad Her psychic abilities are rare and very special, so they ve treated her like a study object in the past and Jessa never want this to happen again Her past experiences traumatized her and she doesn t think science can ever fascinate her That changes when she gets to know Tanner Tanner is a brilliant scientist and knows it too Though Jessa finds him arrogant and unlikable she s interested in him as well What s [...]

  19. 4.5 Stars A big Thank you goes out to Entangled Teen, Pintip Dunn, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review an E ARC as well as Chapter by Chapter for allowing my participation in the blog tour You can change your future all you want, but you will never get away from walking certain paths It s rare to find a sequel that s just as addicting as the first, but here it is Remember Yesterday is every sci fi lover s dream and fans of Forget Tomorrow will not be disappointed Jessa s story i [...]

  20. I can t shake the feeling we re meant to be in each other s lives Spoiler Free ReviewWow Holy Fates, I loved this book This was a very successful sequel After the crazy, cliff hanger ending of Forget Tomorrow, I had some ideas on how this sequel would pan out I was so very wrong, and I am so glad I was I was not prepared for a jump in time of 10 years and basically a whole different set of characters, and definitely a different narrator AND I couldn t be thrilled with how it played out It was s [...]

  21. Splendid, Exciting and Excruciating Yes, excruciating or intense pain because, at the very first line of the book, it brought back some feelings that don t mean to be felt However, as painful as it is Readers like me who will never move on from the first installment will remember the yesterday Okay, Rafael Breathe Inhale Exhale Just going to fix myself first. So, I wanted to talk about Pintip Dunn s book covers first Who wouldn t get attracted to those amazing, colorful, and captivating book cove [...]

  22. Full Review abookishescape 2017 03The End, Mind BLOWN I pretty much want to leave it at that but give me a second to gush without giving anything away Our suspicions about a certain character in the last book turn out to be true and the result is nothing short of perfect The memories and events are tied together in perfect synchronicity I could not have asked for a delicious nerd meal than what the ending turned out to be To say I m excited about the next book would be a gross understatement I [...]

  23. Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Teen for a copy of the eArc in exchange for a fair review.Remember Yesterday picks up 10 years after the end of Forget Tomorrow If you haven t read Forget Tomorrow I highly suggest you start there and stop reading Jessa is now the same age Callie was when she sacrificed herself to change the future All of her life Jessa has felt a little less than and she has been okay with it because she loved Callie the best too When she receives a vision she is a little pu [...]

  24. This was such an epic read that I honestly don t know where to begin My greatest wish right now would be to see these books turned into movies So, where do I start First, let me say that I am in awe of Pintip Dunn s plotting skills This whole time travel thing can get pretty complicated, but she pulls it off flawlessly Every piece of the puzzle falls perfectly in place with no loose ends whatsoever It s amazing how every little detail has a purpose and is there for a specific reason. The book is [...]

  25. Much as I enjoyed Forget Tomorrow, this has to be a case of the sequel being even better. When Callie takes her life to prevent Jessa being the subject of experiments I wondered where book two would pick up The answer is ten years later, with the focus on Jessa as she adjusts to life without her sister.Initially I was unsure about this decision, but as the novel developed I could see just how precise the plotting was for this Without giving too much away, Jessa has to find a way to fulfil her fut [...]

  26. Review in Italian lalibreriadij.wordpress 24 and a half starsI requested an early copy to Netgalley.I loved this book At first I couldn t understand anything because of all the changes that happend in the story and to the characters, and the different pov didn t exactly help. But then I got a gist of Jessa mentality and her feelings, and I was compelled to end the story after future memories to the past we got time travels, OMG I needed to know how it all ended and how the plot was going to devel [...]

  27. First, I d really like to thank Lumen, the French publisher, for sending me this review copy I had absolutely loved the first book of this dystopian trilogy and I just couldn t wait to read this second book For those who haven t read my review of the first book, this is about a futuristic society in which your life depends on a memory you receive when you turn 17 and which is sent by your future self By the way, if you wish to, you can read my full review there In the first book, the technology [...]
