  10. 4.75 StarsA short and fast paced historical adventure mystery This book introduces some wonderful and wacky characters, though my favorite has to be the MC s love interest Fang Imagine a spy assassin chick I picture Lucy Liu in ancient China with a touch of Sherlock sleuthing skills There s going to be a sequel too cannot wait This work is a quick and enjoyable read Recommended for YA and adults, especially those who like Asian cozy mysteries Member Giveaways

  11. I like the author s writing style, trying to find a book to read with my 13 year old Wasn t looking to start a new series so wish I had realized this was the first in a new series Not ready to cover background subjects like a harem with my 13 year old also.
