  1. David Wittlinger and his wife Lynn share their home with three rescued dogs of dubious lineage Aside from writing, David s other hobbies include playing the banjo poorly and tinkering with an endlessly changing selection of old cars in his garage He wrote his first novel in 2013 Despite wistfully dreaming of life in a climate without snow or humidity, the author is a lifelong resident of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania His first book, Portal To Elysium, was inspired by a dream the author had about a window to the after world His second book, The Strong One, is about a lost young woman who finds her inner strength after a traumatic event David admits to having so much fun writing it that he is working on two follow up novels.

  1. Note, Jan 9, 2016 I just edited this review to correct one typo.Note, Feb 4, 2017 i ve just edited this again, partly because I caught another typo, but mainly to delete the now misleading statement that there s as yet no print edition there is one now.Full disclosure at the outset David Wittlinger and I are friends, and in a couple of groups together Despite some off putting aspects of the book description, I was impressed by his attitude toward his writing, as expressed in his comments in thes [...]

  2. A nice variant on the protagonist forced to take in harbor the other protagonist romance theme Has bits of erotica, as needed by plot Suspense Romance. This is good quality writing about a woman who starts out TDTL too dumb too live and matures into a strong woman with agency who takes decisive action. My disclaimer I don t know the author, I bought the book and I wasn t asked to review it.

  3. Excellent novel about a woman who starts with nothing except how to get what she wants on her back and who then develops a backbone, smarts and self reliance Plus she finds a man to love perhaps.A woman of action, a woman with agency, a book I recommend to you.

  4. I enjoyed this book about a stripper who is forced to run for her life when she discovers something she wasn t supposed to discover on her boyfriend s computer I quite liked the main protagonist Brianna, who has a bad attitude in the best way, curses like a sailor and unapologetically loves wild sex She really came alive for me I was a bit worried that by the end of the story she would be cured of her sexual habits, but was relieved to learn that wasn t where Wittlinger was going with this story [...]
