PDF The Alpha's Mail Order Bride Part 1 of 3Since it clearly states this is part one of a trilogy the cliffhanger didn't surprise me, I'd checked the next two books were out and available on kindle unlimited so everything was looking good. Now short shifter books like this are generally more sex than substance but that's not the case here there's only one hot scene and that's about midway so the story and characters carry this book.Akala's life is not going to plan she's no friends and no money and wondering where she went wrong, so while feeling sorry for herself she checks Craigslist and finds an advert for a man looking for a wife and she curious and desperate enough to reply.Nashoba is the alpha of his tribe and he needs a mate desperately so with reservations he places an ad on Craigslist. We're with Akala and Nashoba for what must be one of the most awkward first dates ever, and I for one was hoping they'd find some common ground but then even if they do the fact that Nashoba is a shifter could be a deal beaker. While I enjoyed this read all the way through I couldn't make my mind up about continuing, it never truly grabbed me and made me want to continue. I want to complain that we were never told why Akala has no friends and where's her family but since this is a trilogy I'm assuming this information will be in the following two books, the same applies for Nashoba.Like I said I couldn't make up my mind about reading the next book this decision was made for me when Akala had a huge TSTL moment.. Jasmine White has a huge passion for writing romance with a Paranormal edge to it She is especially fond of shifters and is the proud co owner of the Simply Shifters blog along with her long time best friend Jade White Her paranormal romances will often feature a hunky shifter in some sort of form and lots of excitement and, of course, bedroom activity When she is not writing she loves to snack on baked goods and can not resist a tub of cookie dough ice cream. 2. Title THE ALPHA S MAIL ORDER BRIDESeries The Alpha s Mail Order Bride 1Category Genre Paranormal Romance, BBWRecommended for 18 due to sexual contentReceived from purchaseGrammar editing C average writing, poorly edited This is the first in a trilogy of books that will need to be read in order.Late at night, while procrastinating the writing of an assignment for a client, Akela is checking her social media and perusing Craigslist She knows that most of the MSW ads are cheating men looking for a [...]

  3. I am swaying between I did not like it and it was ok The story had potential but so many things irked me to no end.First the heroine mentioned a grammar police statement on You re versus Your while browsing an internet side where people seek and offer things, but then I find so many mistakes the writer made herself that I can t take her serious If you let your character voice things like that, make sure you re read your story and correct any mistake you can find Then you give it to a proofreader [...]

  4. Bored with a writing job she really needs to complete Akala decides to check out Craiglist for a hook up There amongst the badly written M4W post is a well written request for a mail order bride that for some strange reason she feels compelled to answer When she meets Nashoba she finds the conversation stiff and things aren t looking very promising. The Alpha s Mail Order Bride really belongs in my Books I Couldn t Get Into list and will be added soon since I could only get through 69% of this re [...]

  5. first off let me say this book is good really good It is part of a series so YES there is a cliff hanger I really liked the writing style of this author and how she tells the story of shifter clan differently than many authors do I love the human aspects of Nashoba and the way she describes his wolf I especially like that although Akala is very attracted to his human side she doesn t simply accept his wolf side and fall in love Looking forward to picking up the box set with all 3 books in it lat [...]

  6. Too short. The climax is in the epilogue Too short by half, and after an eye catching opener about the value of good editing, I still found half a dozen editing errors I had high hopes, and really enjoyed this, but it was a short story without the depth and development of a full length novel.

  7. The story was good It was not what I was expecting there are twists and turns there is learning we aren t alone in the world we see what she feels and the unexpected happens the book keeps you guessing and i cant wait to read part 2

  8. Meh.Not very impressed with this dull, sluggish, poorly edited read The storyline has potential with a little effort from the writer.I will not be reading any books in this series.

  9. Blind dateI enjoyed the story and left me with wanting The characters in the book are good and bad so it makes sensew I have to know what happens next
