If I Have to Buy One Book of Louis Kahn-This is the latest and most complete book of Louis Kahn to date. Previous publications about Kahn had narrow focus on either his philosophy, his life as a romantic figure, his paintings, or his architecture. Hardly a comprehensive volume that tries to bring all pieces of the man together, which was unfortunate because no one can truly understand the work without the man, and the man without his work. Now the wait is finally over because of this book.Mr. McCarter has a respectable volume that came close but was still too focus on Kahn's architecture. This book in my mind achieved in-depth understanding of Louis Kahn the man and his work.Below are images I took of the book for my Amazon review, please see link below and let me know if they are helpful to you (by pressing yes or no button), thank you for your comment and support:http://www.amazon.com/gp/review/R2K1S...A viral Louis Kahn: The Power of Architecture Creat Stanislaus von Moos Mateo Kries Jochen Eisenbrand Louis I.
