339 Ken Akamatsu

Boxed set of three bestselling suspense stories by Lindsey Stiles
At the swap meet one day I was passing by regular stalls looking for cheap stuff when I stumbled upon a pretty girl Mind you sometimes pretty girls have an effect on me and this pretty girl I think she was in her twenties suggested I buy one of her manga volumes I think she used to read them and now she was getting rid of them, they were a dollar each and I was convinced to buy it Though I d thought I d been swindled I d found out that the manga I had bought was actually from a good series calle [...]
Although I liked few of the chapters, Keitarou is starting to get on my nerves I just hope he will evolve somehow and won t be that dumb forever D I liked the Valentine chapter very much I just wish my bf could make that kind of cake D D D Anyway, as I don t remember what happened next, I am interested in if they make it into the university I don t think Naru is Keitarou childhood friend and I hope I am not mistaken because if yes, well, I don t like these kind of coincidences happening in the s [...]
Kan Akamatsu is a clever artist The story is rather simplistic Boy sees girl naked, girl hits boy with a roundhouse punch or kicks him in between the legs and sends him flying Nose bleeds follow But if you can get past the Japanese idea of teen comedy, the artwork is very engaging Negima his later work is a much better story.
It s growing on me, but still it seems a bit superficial
Ken Akamatsu, Love Hina vol 2 Tokyopop, 1999 More adventures in the Hinata girls dorm, featuring Kitaro, the hapless headmaster trying to get into Tokyo U So s Naru, the oldest of the bunch, and despite Naru s hatred of Kitaro, the two of them agree to study together, out of necessity than anything Kitaro s klutziness combined with the antics of some of the inhabitants who are less fond of Kitaro keep getting him into sticky situations from which he can t extract himself Good times
More of the same Keitaro being an idiot and the girls tolerating him Shinobu s character annoys me slightly because she s too meek It s ridiculous, she gets offended at the tiniest things and goes off to cry I mean I get that s the character development but its a bit frustrating Keitaro is possibly one of the least likeable main characters I have ever encountered They show nothing but his bad sides Hopefully his good ones will come out soon.
I ve just read a couple of these volumes one after the other and they have kinda all rolled into one Keitaro gets into perverted mishaps in this one but the girls are starting to worm to him Well apart from Naru who spends most of the book pissed off at him for one reason or another Not as good as the first one but moves the story along nicely.
mostly all the time i always find the 2nd boook boring and not entresting. It gives away the important details.Atleast wait until the 2nd to end book. This book proved me wrong well this book atually got beter and better. It was mostly about holidays and tests. Not boring intresting and lol moments. But this book you will love espacialy the manga lovers also people who liked the volume 1.
The nonsensical slapstick fanservice begins to calm down to make room for genuine personality development of the residents of Hinata House Keitaro begins to suspect Naru really is the girl from his childhood, but will any of that matter if he becomes a third year ronin I does make me cringe how pathetic Keitaro is at times, but the other characters make up for it.
The second installment in the Love Hina series is much funnier than the first The story begins to center around the main character s childhood promise and less around the fact that he is a pervy boy ronin living in a house full of girls In this novel we find out who the girl from his past is now.
Now that s like it Gratuitous panty shots and sexual humor is toned way down in favor of actual character development and legitimately funny jokes Now I can see why this got so popular Can t wait to pick up the next one.
i watch the anime version it is about a boy name Urashima Keitaro who became girls s dorm caretaker, since he fails his ent exams into Tokyo University for the 2nd time and officially an unemployed plus his parents kicked him out of the house _ And the story begin
in this volume the lndlord from efore starts to become freinds with the gorls of the hinata house, and te two youngest girls there develope a crush on him and of course hat one grl s still beating him sensless
Actual rating 2.5 stars More of the same Slapstick and sexual awkwardness At least I was given something to root for in this volume As much as I m unimpressed with these characters I can feel the desire to see them succeed.
This book is basically the same as the first volume, except perhaps MORE nudity I did like the minor development of characters and the first big exam It gave the story a sense of progression, even if everything else is going at a snail s pace.
Une jolie lecture dr le et pleine de douceur aheum, tout est relatif.
very funny
Wonderful to kick back during the lunch break and waste an hour in a funny world Nicely drawn too.
Love hina is one of my favorite Manga titles its got a little of this and that in it and is really enjoyable to read in my opinion it is one of the best Manga that Ken Akamatsu has created.
Love Hina, Volume 2 v 2 by Ken Akamatsu 2002
I enjoyed it as just a relaxing full of humor read.
This was okay Though I wish I can find the vol 3 of this ___
Fun series
I kept on after the first, so it must have been at least decent, right
I decided to read this book because it was made by my favorite author, Ken Akamatsu I figured if Negima is TOTALLY AWESOME, than Love Hina would be, too
Read prior to joining.
So much tension Do they pass the exams or become Ronin Is Narusegawa the little girl with the promise or not
I gave it a try, but it is once again a water down plot used to show unreasonably sexualized women.
