  3. I won this book through the giveaways and set about reading it at once Cat s Eyes was charming The plot is comfortable and familiar without being worn to bits Kate Dawson is twelve, misses her dead father, and is terribly unhappy with her stepfather and half sister Emma Little do they know their two kittens are not kittens at all but the Princess of the land of Miu and her bodyguard Kate and Emma are thrown into their world, and struggles, by the evil Miuan Min, out to steal the throne The book [...]

  4. Fast and easy read Aimed at children 9 to 12, but I m 26, and I still had so much fun Well, maybe that was because I am big, big fan of adventure, magic, fantasy, and the like But I m pretty sure any adult who has still got the child in them would enjoy this There s not much world building, but I don t think that was necessary for such a lighthearted story Characterization was minimal but didn t leave me asking for i was given all that I needed to know It was the type of story that when you sta [...]

  5. 6. Thanks First Reads for win 12 yr old Kate is tired of her half sister Emma, Emma always tells weird things like she can hear the kittens they found talking and she understands them One morning Kate knows her sister is in trouble so she must find her Where did she find her and is her little sister telling the truth about the kittens Really liked this book It was different then my usual kind of reading, of a YA book But liked it all the same and will be looking for book two
