  1. I am giving this book 2 stars even though I could not finish it The story wasn t terribly bad, I just could not get into it At 36% I called it quits I d rather read something else than continue on with this story.

I have mixed feelings about this book It disappointed me a little It didn t live up to my expectations The beginning was rather boring and the writing was confusing and it often seemed like something was missing, like words or even sentences had been forgotten I couldn t get the meaning of some things And I didn t like either of the characters Then it get slightly better towards the middle of the book and I was totally hooked by then I liked how Amy and Jamie s relationship grew and got deeper a [...]

Aside from multiple punctuation errors, I thought this was a wonderful book I found it very moving and thought provoking, particularly in light of the recent senseless movie theater shootings I loved the message of forgiveness and of accepting responsibility As a Christian, I also appreciated the way this story addresses God and how we can have faith and still have questions without making the story overly preachy Also, having personally lost a friend to murder, this perspective gives me hope of [...]
